(ALAB) ولما وصل يسوع إلى الضفة المقابلة، في بلدة الجدريين، لاقاه رجلان تسكنهما الشياطين، كانا خارجين من بين القبور، وهما شرسان جدا حتى لم يكن أحد يجرؤ على المرور من تلك الطريق.

(GNA) ولما وصل يسوع إلى الشاطئ المقابل في ناحية الجدريين استقبله رجلان خرجا من المقابر، وفيهما شياطين. وكانا شرسين جدا، حتى لا يقدر أحد أن يمر من تلك الطريق.

(JAB) ولما بلغ الشاطئ الآخر في ناحية الجدريين، تلقاه رجلان ممسوسان خرجا من القبور، وكانا شرسين جدا حتى لا يستطيع أحد أن يمر من تلك الطريق.

(HNT) ויהי כבאו אל־עבר הים אל־ארץ הגדרים ויפגשוהו שני אנשים אחוזי שדים יצאים מבתי הקברות והמה רגזנים מאד עד אשר לא־יכל איש לעבר בדרך ההוא׃


(FDB) Et quand il arriva à l'autre rive, dans le pays des Gergéséniens, deux démoniaques, sortant des sépulcres, vinrent à sa rencontre; et ils étaient très-violents, en sorte que personne ne pouvait passer par ce chemin-là.

ايضا هنا الترجمات العربيه مختلفه بين الجدريين و الجرجسيين و كما رأينا فان الكلمه اليونانيه المستخدمه هنا هى γεργεσηνων و التى تعنى جرجيسين فمن اين اتت الترجمات بكلمة جدريين ؟

و بما ان الامر شديد الاختلاط فى الترجمات فدعونا نستعرض على غير عادتنا ترجمات اكثر لنرى ما هى حقيقة الامر :

(GNB) When Jesus came to the territory of Gadara on the other side of the lake, he was met by two men who came out of the burial caves there. These men had demons in them and were so fierce that no one dared travel on that road.


(GW) When he arrived in the territory of the Gadarenes on the other side of the Sea of Galilee, two men met him. They were possessed by demons and had come out of the tombs. No one could travel along that road because the men were so dangerous.


(ISV) When Jesus arrived on the other side in the region of the Gerasenes, two demon-possessed men met him as they were coming out of the tombs. They were so violent that no one could travel on that road.

و هكذا نجد نفس المشكله فى الترجمات الغير عربيه كلا منها يذكر اسم مدينه غير الاخرى جدريين او جرجسين و فى محاوله لحل هذا اللغز دعنا نبحث فى المخطوطات :
